Ibuki (息吹/いぶき) in Japanese culture describes Resilience, Inner-Stregth, and Renewal. It depicts the ability to endure hardship while remaining gracious and grateful.

This handcrafted ceramic with stunning hues of jade, olive and matcha green originates from Japan’s Shiga Prefecture, celebrated for its exceptional clay deposits and rich history in ceramic artistry. Crafted in the Youhen Ibushi style, this bowl is specially designed to create matcha with a remarkably smooth and frothy bubbles.

*The artisan who crafted this chawan left a maker's mark at the bottom of the bowl (see image above). It's like a signature on master art pieces to show which kiln it was from and who made it.
