"Sakura Blossoms" Sakura Shino Chawan
A beautiful matcha bowl, or chawan, is one of the most essential elements of a Japanese tea ceremony. This artisan ceramic bowl was thrown by hand in Toki, Gifu prefecture, Japan. The pale sakura pink chawan is finished with a porous Shino-style signature glaze and deep brown calligraphy strokes, giving it beauty and character.

Our Story, Our Promise
My pale pink & white signature glaze was created in a small town called Toki (土岐市, Toki-shi), 30km north of Nagoya City. Toki is known as one of the largest and oldest producers of Japanese pottery originating from the 7th century.
